Trust your heart health with Nature Made® Triple Omega, a blended formula of fish, flaxseed, safflower and olive oil that provides the three main types of fatty acids used by the body (Omegas 3-6-9).
Omega-3 and omega-6 are essential fatty acids that our bodies need but do not produce that must be obtained through diet or supplementation. They are incorporated into cells and help support the structural integrity of cell membranes.1,† Supportive but not conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. Omega-9, which is a non-essential fatty acid, is produced naturally by the body.
Provides 434 mg of Omega-3; 276 mg of Omega-6; and 170 mg of Omega-9 in one softgel.
Helps support cell membrane structure.†
Helps support a healthy heart.†

What are fatty acids?
Fatty acids are types of fats present in foods (fish, plants, vegetable oils) and dietary supplements (e.g . fish oil, flaxseed oil). Three major classes of fatty acids are omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9.
Omega-3: Two important fatty acids within omega-3 are EPA and DHA (eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid), which help support a healthy heart 2,3†
Omega-6: An essential fatty acid known as linoleic acid (LA), which help to support the compounds of the membrance structure lipids and is important in cellular processes.1
Omega-9: A monounsaturated fatty acid known as oleic acid. The American Heart Association recommends replacing dietary saturated fats with monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats to help support heart health.4 The 2015 Dietary Guidelines for Americans also advise replacing saturated fats with mono- and poly- unsaturated fats as part of a healthy diet.5
Daily Recommended Intake
A national survey shows that most Americans are not meeting these recommendations, with over 40% of adults not meeting the recommended intake for omega-3.6
Omega-9 is a monounsaturated oleic acid (OA), which is a non-essential fatty acid that is produced naturally by the body.
Food Sources
Food sources of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) include: flaxseed oil, walnuts, and canola oil. EPA and DHA omega 3 fatty acids are mostly found in oily fish, such as herring, salmon, and sardines. Algae, a plant source, is another place to find EPA and DHA.
Food sources of linoleic acid (LA), an omega 6 fatty acid, include: vegetable oils, such as soybean, safflower, and corn oil, as well as nuts and seeds.
Oleic acid, an omega-9 fatty acid, is mainly found in olive and canola oil.
